8 November | Monika Falcon and Symphony Orchestra Concert
8 November, 7 pm, an enchanting concert of opera arias and more by soprano Monica Falcon and the Symphony Orchestra will take place at the Raudondvaris Manor Arts Incubator.
In mid-autumn, the Raudondvaris Manor Arts Incubator will host a recital by Monica Falcon, an international soprano who is making a name for Lithuania abroad. She has appeared on the international stage with conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. Monika has performed leading roles in the operas Aida and Leonora, and has also portrayed Desdemona (Verdi’s Otello) and Santuzza (Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana).
Accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jonas Janulevičius, Chief Conductor of Kaunas State Musical Theatre, the audience will hear the most beautiful arias from operas, operettas and more.
Programme: G. Verdi, G. Puccini, A. Dvorzak, I. Kalman, B. Dvarionas and others.
Dainius Martinaitis, a well-known TV presenter, hosts the concert.
