12:00–12:40 PM

THE SYMBOLIC ARRIVAL OF COUNT TIŠKEVIČIUS TO RAUDONDVARIS MANOR

This is a unique opportunity to experience a journey through time where history, art, and modern technology come together.

The first part of the event will feature a theatrical procession symbolizing the arrival of Count Benediktas Jonas Tiškevičius at the manor. Inspired by Eastern traditions, artistic interpretations and dance improvisations will present the symbolic transfer of the keys of Raudondvaris Manor from Benediktas Henrikas Tiškevičius to his son Benediktas Jonas Tiškevičius – an important historical moment reimagined through the language of contemporary art.

Following this ceremony, visitors will be invited to immerse themselves in the manor’s digital world. Through artificial intelligence and innovative technologies, the historic façade of the manor and its exotic paradise garden will come to life. Spectacular visual projections, holograms of plants and animals, and an AI-generated Count Tiškevičius will reveal fascinating stories from his travels and lesser-known chapters of Raudondvaris Manor’s history.

Featuring: Dainius Bervingis, dancer and choreographer of the Kaunas State Musical Theatre, and the DDS Dance Studio team MINI LADIES (director Deimantė Sriubienė).

1:00–2:00 PM

“MY DEAREST BENEDIKTAS…”

The history of 19th-century Raudondvaris Manor will come alive through fragments of letters exchanged between Count Benediktas Emanuelis Tiškevičius and his wife, as well as poetry from the Romantic era.

Texts by George Gordon Byron, Heinrich Heine, and William Wordsworth will be performed by professional theatre actors Vigita Rudytė and Arvydas Šaučiūnas.

A special atmosphere will be created by live music from 19th-century composers, performed by one of Lithuania’s most distinguished contemporary pianists, Darius Mažintas, and Vytenis Gurstis, flautist of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The performance will take place in the grounds of Raudondvaris Manor Park (near the Northern Office Building), where architecture, nature, and art will merge into a single experience.

2:00–3:00 PM and 5:00–6:00 PM

ŠAKIAI CIRCUS PERFORMANCES

A circus area will be set up in the park near the manor orangery. Visitors will enjoy artistic performances by the talented young artists of the Šakiai Circus School, featuring impressive tricks, smiles, and plenty of good cheer.

4:00–5:00 PM

CRACOVIA DANZA BALLET – “CHOPIN’S DANCING WORLD”

The Polish dance company Cracovia Danza Ballet will present the dance and pantomime performance “Chopin’s Dancing World” on the stage near the castle.

The performance will transport audiences to the atmosphere of 19th-century manors and salons, where balls and social gatherings showcased a variety of dance forms. Inspired by the music of Frédéric Chopin, the programme revives the European and Polish dances of the era: elegant Anglaises and Lancers, lively Quadrilles, enchanting Waltzes, the stately Polonaise, the sentimental Kujawiak, and the spirited Oberek.

Through the language of dance and pantomime, the performance reveals the richness and diversity of Chopin’s artistic world, where music and movement unite in a captivating spectacle.

6:00–6:40 PM

PIANO RECITAL BY DARIUS MAŽINTAS

As the roses bloom, classical music fills the air. Pianist Darius Mažintas will perform in the park beside the manor’s rose garden.

The programme features works by Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, Jean Sibelius, and Frédéric Chopin.

Visitors are invited to enjoy an open-air classical music concert in a beautiful natural setting.

7:00–8:00 PM

KAUNAS DISTRICT HONOURS AWARDS CEREMONY

The traditional awards ceremony honouring individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Kaunas District will take place on the main Statehood Day stage.

8:00–9:00 PM

CONCERT BY LINAS ADOMAITIS WITH RHYTHM BAND AND THE KAUNAS CITY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

One of the highlights of the evening will be a special concert featuring Linas Adomaitis, his rhythm band, and the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra.

Powerful live music, audience favourites, and a unique musical programme promise to create one of the most memorable moments of the celebration.

9:00 PM

THE NATIONAL ANTHEM OF LITHUANIA

All visitors at Raudondvaris Manor will be invited to gather together and sing the Lithuanian National Anthem, celebrating unity, national pride, and the spirit of the occasion.

9:15 PM

CONCERT BY THE BAND “PATRULIAI”

The evening will conclude with a performance by the popular Lithuanian band Patruliai, promising great energy, popular hits, and an engaging programme inviting everyone to sing along.

Guided tours will be led by Raudondvaris Manor guides. Participants are asked to gather at the castle’s main entrance.

Opening of the Jewellery Exhibition “Dialogue of Symbols”

Following the opening, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a jewellery-making workshop led by the artist in the manor’s cellars hall.
