On December 27, at 7 p.m., the Raudondvaris Manor Arts Incubator will host a concert featuring artists who are passionate about Song Theater: Ilona Balsytė, Aidas Giniotis, Andrius Kaniava, Gediminas Storpirštis, Bjelle, and Dominykas Vaitiekūnas. The songs will be accompanied by professional musicians: Tadas Dešukas (violin), Nerijus Bakula (accordion), Gintaras Šulinskas (acoustic and electric guitar), Gintautas Gascevičius (drums), Vytautas Lukočius (keyboards), Julius Bakanauskas (bass guitar).
Well-known performers gathered to express their respect for the Daina Theater.
On December 25, 1991, the last concert of the Song Theater took place at the former Vilnius Trade Union Hall on Tauras Hill. With it, a unique phenomenon in the Lithuanian music world came to an end.
In 1985, a group of talented artists was formed, including Vytautas Kernagis, Andrius Kulikauskas, Marijus Šnaras, Mindaugas Gabrys, Gintaras Tilvytis, Kęstutis Gascevičius, Ilona Balsytė, Edvinas Dargis, Arūnas Degutis, Rita Mironaitė, Robertas Griškevičius, and Ričardas Bakšaitis. This group created eight programs, recorded five albums, and performed throughout Lithuania, the United States, and Canada.
Forty years after the founding of Song Theater, well-known Lithuanian actors and performers brought together by Bardai LT decided to pay tribute to this unique phenomenon, which has no parallel on the Lithuanian stage.
