Aidas Giniotis and the band PlumBum | Concert "Don't Be Afraid – It's Us"

On November 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM, Raudondvaris Manor will host Aidas Giniotis and the band PlumBum, presenting Don’t Be Afraid – It’s Us, a concert featuring songs by the legendary pioneer of Lithuanian sung poetry, Vytautas Kernagis, alongside works by other renowned bards and beloved songs from the Keistuoliai Theatre.
Director, teacher, actor, and the ever-eccentric maestro Aidas Giniotis is a familiar name to audiences across Lithuania. For more than three decades, he has delighted listeners with his original songs—as well as many other musical works—performing both solo and in collaboration with fellow artists. This time, he will take the stage with PlumBum (literally, Falling Plum), a band made up of five talented and energetic actors from the youngest generation: Džiugas Širvys, Aistė Šeštokaitė, Lyja Maknavičiūtė, Urtė Smulskytė-Auksoraitienė, and Matas Pranskevičius. Each is a vibrant and distinctive artist who, while devoted to theatre, remains deeply connected to music.
Together with these young performers, Aidas Giniotis will explore fresh musical interpretations of melodies cherished by generations. Through inventive instrumental arrangements and expressive vocal harmonies, they promise to breathe new life into Vytautas Kernagis’ songs—delicately, creatively, and, above all, with genuine sincerity.
