“Bass_4” Quartet invites you to an exclusive concert, where the audience will have the opportunity to hear an ensemble of four double basses in an unusual amplitude. This unique quartet, formed in 2022, aims to showcase the potential of the double bass as a solo instrument, revealing its rich timbre, variety of colours and virtuosic possibilities.
The members of the quartet – Dainius Rudvalis, Donatas Butkevičius, Augustinas Treznickas and Aušvydas Kriščiūnas – are laureates of international competitions and actively perform on both Lithuanian and foreign stages. Their programme combines classical, tango and popular music, inviting listeners to take a fresh look at the double bass and its unique sound. “Bass_4” promises a spectacular and engaging evening of music for fans of all genres.
