27 December 2024, 6 pm “The Actors’ Trio” is back for a festive concert!
Unbelievably, they are together again. Maybe a little changed, a little out of step with the years, but retaining a kinship of souls and a respect for the common values of all three – music and poetry. The legendary Trio of Actors – Kostas Smoriginas, Oleg Ditkovskis and Saulius Bareikis – is unrivalled.
After their hugely successful concerts in Palanga, Kaunas and Panevėžys last December, and at the request of their fans, the Aktorių trio will also perform at the Raudondvaris Manor Arts Incubator on 27 December 2024 at 6 pm. The actors will be accompanied by composer, pianist and song arranger Audrius Balsys in a nostalgic concert of time-tested original songs.
“When we started singing, we didn’t think that our songs would become so popular. What we did was subjective, personal, very close to everyday life”, is how O. Ditkovskis describes the Aktorių trio.
“Music is a diary of spiritual well-being. Creativity does not only come from individual experiences or reflect a person’s inner self, but also sends a personal message to the audience”, says Bareikis.
And K. Smoriginas has no doubt that even old songs that are popular with the audience can be sung in a new way – their interpretations and accents are different every time they appear on stage.
The meeting with the legendary group, which has been awaited for seven years, will undoubtedly fill the hearts of the audience with sincere, life-affirming authenticity.
“Aktorių trio was formed in 1995. The well-known actors, performing heart-warming original songs on stage, became popular in no time. Prominent concerts, albums selling in large numbers, tours abroad, the uniqueness of their sound and playing style – all this has led to an even greater interest in the actors’ original songs.
Although there have been longer and shorter creative breaks, as the artists themselves say, the phenomenon of the Aktorių trio has always been good lyrics and good music, and all their songs are openings and confessions.
